| Introduction | As a Professor of Mechanical Engineering at Istanbul Technical University (ITU) for over two decades, I have devoted my career to advancing knowledge and practice in thermodynamics, heat and mass transfer, and computational fluid dynamics (CFD). My research focuses on turbulence, multiphase flows, and system integration in engineering. I am deeply committed to fostering a culture of excellence, innovation, ethics, integrity, and diversity within my field. Beyond my technical work, I also pursue strong interests in philosophy, literature, and anthropology, enjoying the interplay between scientific inquiry and the broader social and human values that shape our world. |
