| Introduction | The ECWA is considered one of THE premier independent wrestling promotions in the United States. Many young stars seen today in the major leagues have used the ECWA as a proving ground before heading to the major groups to become stars. Charlie Haas, Kidman, Christian, Shawn Stasiak, Test, Crowbar (Devon) and Simon Diamond all wrestled for the ECWA before going on to greater heights in the big leagues of WWE & TNA respectively. The ECWA Annual Super 8 Tournament (Super 8 has just completed it's 11th year.) has been a hotbed for young lightheavyweights to compete in. |
