| Introduction | "Makadini" is the shona word for how are you?.My name is lydia.An avid lover of cooking and baking.My cooking experience began in my teens with my mum teaching me how to cook sadza which is a staple in zimbabwe.My desire for this blog is to numb the craving for good Zimbabwean traditional food by cooking simple but yet delicious and nourishing meals especially to those who have been away in foreign lands for so long and those who have simply passion for Zimbabwean food.I am inspired by old women in rural areas who bend gracefully over the fire to cook simple and yet nourishing meals without preservatives.This blog gives me a platform to share with you what we eat,do,wear,our culture our tradition"the real zimbabwe fron a zimbabwean.Please enjoy! |
