| Introduction | Once upon a time in Southern California, 4 dads got together on a Saturday afternoon to shoot the breeze and put together a jungle gym/swing slide set/whatchamacallit. It was a perfect weekend day, and assembly was going smoothly until SNAP! Our Herculean efforts snapped one of the slide pieces clean in half. Luckily, we had a tube of urethane glue on hand. So, we set about to fasten the pieces together, figuring we'd let the glue cure, then resume efforts on Sunday. Unfortunately we sat and watched as the glue started foaming. Then it foamed some more. And it kept right on foaming. Our First Thought: The kids (and the wives) were NOT going to be pleased. Our Second Thought: We can make a better urethane glue than this! So we did. Ironic as it sounds, not 1, but 2 of the 4 fathers -get it, forefathers- actually had backgrounds in adhesives. And that's how Sticky Ass Glue came into existence. Today, we're proud to be the forefathers of a product of this quality. That's the Sticky Ass Glue story… and we're sticking to it!!! |
