| Introduction | Dr. Stech is the co-principle investigator of corporate research projects on Counter-Deception Decision Support, aimed at aiding counter-deception analysts by combining research on the cognitive psychology of deception and deception detection with planning and analytic support tools. Dr. Stech received his B.A. from Dartmouth College in psychology and economics, and his M.A. and Ph.D. in psychology from the University of California, Santa Barbara. Dr. Stech retired in April 2002 as Colonel, Military Intelligence, after thirty years of service in the U.S. Army Reserve, in intelligence and special operations positions in CONUS, PACOM, EUCOM, ACOM and JFCOM. |
