| Introduction | It’s official. I’ve lost my cool in more than one way. I’m a mom. To four. Crazy. Kids. Step mom. To 2 more. I make babyfood. I eat babyfood. I wear baby food. I talk poop, cleaning, homeschool, canning, and occupational therapy. My kids think I sound like Charlie Brown’s teacher when I talk to them. When I’m up all night, it’s not socially. More like sickly. Yup. There’s not much cool about me anymore, and all too often, I can’t even keep my cool with my kids. And I just can’t pretend to be any cooler than I am so obviously not. So, here I am the real me. I hope I will make you feel normal, and I hope we can all get cooler by association, and practice. |
