| Introduction | Mr. Abercrombie is the Principal Database Architect at Convio. He helped to found GetActive about eleven years ago, before it merged with Convio. Convio is an ASP providing fundraising, advocacy, event fundraising, web content management and email market services for large membership organizations and non-profits. Dave focuses on Oracle diagnostics, tuning and design from the perspective of the application. Dave bridges the gap between the DBAs and the application developers, speaking both languages. Mr. Abercrombie presents regularly at the Northern California Oracle Users Group (NoCOUG) and is the Associate Editor of its journal. |
