| Introduction | Profoundly deaf since birth. My hearing has been declining progressively in the past several years and I decided to have a cochlear implant which is a surgically implanted electronic device to improve sounds with clarity. The operation took place on 19th June 2013 and it was switched on 25th July 2013. This blog describes my experience with the new cochlear implant. |
