| Introduction | I graduated from Clemson University and initially went into the Army as an infantry platoon leader and then I was recruited by the Army to attend Medical School after which I reentered the Army as a physician again serving in an Infantry Brigade as a Brigade Surgeon and then a variety of assignments, including an overseas assignment with the Camp David Accords. After leaving the Army I set up private practice and currently have fully retired so as to have time for my true passion which is wine, travel, and food. I am providing this blog to wine, travel, and food lovers throughout the world hopefully recommending outstanding experiences that are affordable and available. I receive no compensation from anyone for my recommendations. I now have over 20 years of experience in rating and writing about fine wine, food, and travel and can also recommend your visiting my reviews on TripAdvisor.com. In the recent past, I served as a corporate VP of a major hospitality group as their primary wine buyer and consultant and sometimes serve as the personal sommelier of a CEO of a major Fortune 500 company. |
