| Introduction | Welcome to my blog! My name is Meilin and my love for soap-making started when I was looking for all natural and handcrafted gifts for friends and family for the holidays that are not mass-produced. This led to a soap-making class and little did I know that soap-making would unleash an addiction that I have trouble shaking off!
My background includes double-majoring in Psychology and Business Administration at the University of California at Berkeley, representing retail clients in negotiating real estate leases with commercial landlords, working in academic research in gauging effectiveness of teaching with high tech gadgets in the college classroom, as well as troubleshooting cryptic error messages from SQL server databases. However, my previous occupations pale in comparison to my penchant for creative endeavors like playing with glycerin, colors, and fragrances!
I hope to use this space as a way to pass along job openings from my own network to those looking for jobs in this tough economy. I also will blog about new soaps that I create on a very frequent basis.
