Introduction	At 8 months old, I suffered from a severe case of bacterial meningitis. I never fully recovered. From the virus, I suffered significant neurological delays and have lost many functions. My physical state is very weak, I am deaf, have weakened vision, eat via feeding tube, and have a seizure disorder. I was a healthy and vibrant baby but can no longer do anything without assistance.
