Introduction Food within context. Or should I have said "life within context"? Things make sense when put within a context and cooking has a context for me, which is a passionate love for life and people and everything else. Even though I will post recipes, reviews etc here, this blog is not solely about cooking or how to boil an egg. And I hope I am a good enough writer to communicate what it really is about... Sure, Otto Tarchin is not my real name. Otto, short for Ottoman, is a tribute and reference to the culinary roots of the country that I am from; Tarchin is cinnamon in Turkish, a sweet, hot, joyful spice... And the credit for wine pairings and the opinionated food photos goes to Daisy...
