Introduction	I'm a compulsive writer and, until 2007, a secret one. I crept out of the closet to dip my toe in the ocean and, guess what, people don't think I'm crazy after all. (Or do they?) Likes: watching big waves in the sea: the feel of wind on my face and in my hair: being barefoot. Dislikes: arguments; sitting in very hot sun with no shade; having nothing to read. I work full-time but would love to give up work and write. People say I talk too much .... so I'd better shut up.
Interests	Writing, reading, dogs, knitting, crosswords, sudoku, local history, Land Rovers (vicariously because in our house you just can't escape Landytalk).
Favorite movies	I'd much rather read a book! I'll watch anything as long as it's not a war film or The Sound of Music.
Favorite music	Dire Straits, Phil Collins, Bon Jovi, Snow Patrol, 70s and 80s music, Classical Guitar.
Favorite books	All-time favourites: All Ken Follet but particularly Pillars of the Earth and World Without End. Time Traveller's Wife, Roots, any Penny Vincenzi or Rosie Thomas.
