Introduction I live on a 90 acre farm in the eastern interior of Alaska where we raise Tibetan Yaks. Tibetan Yaks are amazing animals and so well suited to Alaska. They produce absolutely wonderful meat, soft and warm down which is spun into yarn or felted, plus they can be used as a pack or riding animal. Easy keepers, they are economical, docile and just plain fun! When I'm not being a "yak-mom" I am Editor of "The Alaska Professional Hunter" magazine which is published four times per year by the Alaska Professional Hunters Association. I can also be found in Alaska's back-country and remote locations-- hunting, guiding big game hunters, kayaking, hiking, camping...anything that gets me outdoors!
Interests Mentoring and teaching our youth about the Alaska outdoors, hunting, & shooting sports; Sea Kayaking; Tibetan Yaks; Fiber Arts--focusing on hand dyeing, spinning and weaving;
