| Introduction | I am a multi-diciplined climber from the Central Coast of California(Ventura County), where we are gifted with tons of great climbing. I surf and snowboard and do a little cross-country as well. My true love is for the high and scary places so I spend alot of time in the Eastern Sierra bagging peaks(13ers and 14ers) with my climbing partner of 10 years Dave Stillman. Outside of my alpine game, you will often see me with a pack of teenagers(my son Carlo and his pals) in tow. I like climbing with kids because of their fresh enthuseasim and can-do attitude. Plus, they are an ever present reminder to climb safe and smart, and that the rock climbing community is not about ratings and spray but rather its about friends, fun and fellowship. Im a family guy, married with children and come from a large extended family of climbers, surfers, musicians and dirty old mountain men(and women). I am a lifelong resident of California and have visited every corner of this great state. But there is always more to see and learn. Welcome to the dirtblog. |
