Introduction | Born in Kent, England but raised in South Africa. Lived in Europe for many years , then immigrated to the USA in 1984. Worked for Contiki Tours for 6 years before buying and running a pizza place in Santa Barbara, CA. After selling the restaurant 6 years later,I went to work for a best friend and mentor, Otis Chandler, publisher of the Los Angeles Times, managing his world renowned museum of cars, bikes, and art.. In 1998, I moved to Colorado where for 13 years I owned and ran two collision repair facilities, specializing in collision repairs ,mostly to recreational vehicles.. I lived my dream of racing cars and motorcycles, and was fortunate enough to win a number of national championships here in the United States and at home, I also won the prestigious Pike Peak International Hill Climb in 2003, and a drivers championship in my race car. I retired at 59, sold my business, and now pursue other dreams and adventures. today I live on Hilton Head Island, South Carolina. I am spiritual in my nature, and enjoy the person I worked so hard to become. I am grateful for the good and the bad times I have had to endure, and look upon them as all lessons along the way. |
