About me

Occupation	Eric Meidel is co-founder and President of Artsonia.com and Anji Meidel is a licensed esthetician and homemaker. Elena Meidel is in charge of keeping mom and dad on their toes.
Location	Gurnee, Illinois, United States
Introduction	Eric and Anji have been married since October 2001, but have known each other since the age of 10. They welcomed daughter Elena in March 2005. Eric is co-founder and President of Artsonia, the World's Largest online art gallery for children K-12. Anji is a licensed esthetician and makeup artist, spending her time focused on home and family with consulting on the side. Elena keeps Dad and Mom on their toes!
Interests	We love walks, Autumn, trips to the mall for Auntie Anne's pretzels, car rides through the country or up to Kenosha with drive through Starbucks, the Milwaukee Zoo, anything we can do as a family. Eric and Anji LOVE the Kohler Waters Spa which they feel they never get enough of. Christmas is a favorite time of year as well since that is when they spend a week in Kohler for a yearly revisit to the place where they had their honeymoon. Eric is big into home renovation...thanks, DIY TV! He's gotten quite good at everything!
Favorite Movies	We have our personal favorites, but as a couple we love the Lord of the Rings Trilogy, anything Star Wars or Indiana Jones (thanks, George Lucas), the Harry Potter Series, Anji loves anything girlie (How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days, Legally Blonde, The Princess Bride (of course! "ROUS's? I don't think they exist!" Insert large growling rat noise...hehehe!)and Miss Congeniality are some top ones). Her absolute favorite is Bruce Almighty... trying to think what else...we really love the movies and are just thrilled when we get to go anymore! When we go to Florida in the Spring to visit Eric's parents we may take in 2 or 3 to get our fix!
Favorite Music	We both love Christian, especially Steven Curtis Chapman, Eric made Anji love Country (yes, I have been defeated)...Anji is a big fan of Hip Hop, Latin (you should see her ballroom dance now!), and anything from the 80's. Eric LOVES the Carpenters Christmas Album!
Favorite Books	And when exactly do we have time for that?!?! HA! As far as books go, Eric has enjoyed the Harry Potter series, otherwise he is always learning about computer stuff in both magazine's and books, or as of late anything related to renovation (you've seen pics of the house! He's out of control! ;) ). He really is an inspiration to Anji! Anji likes anything by Elizabeth George, Elisabeth Elliot, and loves the book by Robin McGraw "Inside My Heart", the book by Robin Roberts "From the Heart", and "Heavenly Crowns" by Heather Whitestone McCallum. If it's magazines, then InStyle or Pageantry are what you'll find for her.
