Introduction	Slightly frayed around the edges and still trying to pretend that I'm not really as old as that! I thank God for all my blessings, particularly my Catholic faith; my wife a 'pearl of great price'; my children and grandchildren; my friends; our dog Dartmoor; and our good neighbours and spiritual mentors, the F.SS.R community from Papa Stronsay.
Interests	Traditional Catholicism, history,classical music, European art - especially Baroque period and 'Old Masters', spectator sport ie cricket, rugby, soccer.
Favorite movies	Old Ealing Studio films and Westerns. Good detective films. Certain old British b+w films (B movies)
Favorite music	Classical, particularly Mozart, Haydn, Handel,Bach. Traditional jazz.
Favorite books	Historical non-fiction, lives of the Saints and selected religious books. Certain travel books eg H.V.Morton and short stories
