| Introduction | Ubiratan Nazareno Borges Porto, aka “Biratan”, was born in Belém do Pará, Brazil, on 29/10/1950. He graduated in Publicity and Propaganda at the Federal University of Pará. "Biratan" is an acclaimed cartoonist in his country and, curiously, an amateur mandolinist in his free time! He has altogether seven books printed and his works widely published in the United States, Mexico, Italy, Belgium and Netherlands. He has also won several national and international awards for his accomplishments. All in all, be welcome!! This blog's goal is to present to the public a selected portion of his work and that of his nearest colleagues in the field of graphic arts. |
