Introduction	Hi everyone! I work as an independent education contractor. I worked for 10 years teaching Marine Studies at a regional polytechnic and have been 'out on my own' since 2004. Some of work specialises in marine and environmental education - i do things like create programmes, review, design and re-develop education resources and sometimes run programmes. I also do a range of tertiary education projects - programme reviews, feasibility studies, sustainability evaluations and advice on educaiton for sustainability. I am currently working part time as i have an 11 month old son called Finn :] I live in Papamoa with Finn and my husband Olaf. Aside from work and family, I love going on adventures and enjoy the outdoors. My other passtimes include off road running, biking, surfing, diving, photography (including the underwater sort!) sailing and ashtanga yoga! I am hoping that this course will further develop my understanding of quality e-learning and help me with my work in terms of both evaluating, creating and re-creating quality educaiton resources.... ummm... that's pretty broad really isn't it!
