| Introduction | I am a late blooming writer getting in my first licks as a feature writer for The Purcellville Gazette. On an episode of "Inside the Actors' Studio" a few years ago a guest said to the students assembled before him that the great thing about being an actor is that there is always work for actors. It might not pay much, or even anything, he said, but there will always be acting to do. Though I'm still not sure that the same holds true for writers, I have been fortunate to make a connection with the Gazette where much of what I write ends up in print. Thanks go to Bobbi Carducci for helping me get on my way. Thanks also go to my sweetheart Hiroko Kogi for all that she has given to me, and for graciously receiving all I have had to give. And thanks to Mario Andretti for driving so darned fast during my formative years. |
