| Introduction | I love to paint, refinish furniture, make dolls, garden, take walks in the woods, write, read, and basically stay home. I'm such a "homebody". I was born and raised in the mountains of North Carolina. I grew up making mud pies, sliding down red clay banks, hiking in the woods, hunting the perfect Christmas tree in the snow, helping my Mom wash clothes in an old ringer type washer, putting in the bluing to make the white clothes whiter. Playing many hours alone...until I discovered to draw. I haven't stopped since. I love coming up with new ideas of creating something most people haven't thought of yet. I'm inspired easily to try new ideas. The above window was made for my daughter's room. She loves it and so do I. Check out my pages for a bit of the things I love. |
