Introduction	I was born and raised in Kansas City, Missouri, and grew up enjoying the finer things in life...like Wings and Triple BLTs from The Peanut, and Arthur Bryant's beef sandwiches. In between two-a-day football practices in high school, I'd down a Skycraper Sundae from Winstead's, and many grade cards were celebrated with family over a meal at Stroud's. Speaking of Stroud's...In 2009, I appeared on KCPT's "Check, Please! Kansas City." I was the one who shamelessly said "That's how I roll" on public television. I am a former newspaper reporter with the St. Louis Post-Dispatch and the St. Joseph News-Press, and now work in advertising and public relations...and no, none of my clients are restaurants...at least not yet.
