| Introduction | I'm Francis Don Daniels-thetapoet. By nature I am a poet and a romantic by heart. Things not easy in the world in which we live, where men and social orders march headlong with inane thirst for materialism. Where man is told he's nothing more than animal with his highest capacity a brain. But five-thousand years of recorded history tells of man's innate urge to know himself as a spiritual being. Yet, today, scarcely a whisper is given to the human spirit. As a poet, it is my duty to take up this cause to help restore a voice to the spiritual side of life- not in terms of religious belief or doctrine, but as creative expression of thought and illusion which is, itself, an extension of the human spirit. Interspersed, you may find a little romance, for there are moments when I can't help but succumb to a stirring love song. |
