| Introduction | I have had an interest in birds and wildlife for as long as I can remember. Two articles in National Geographic, one on Hawk Mountain and the other on Swallow-tailed Kites in the Everglades, made a lasting impression on me. Little did I know then, that I would one day drive by a sign that pointed to Hawk Mountain and eventually lead birding tours to Florida. I am a past President of the Delaware Valley Ornithological Society and member of the Nikon/DVOC World Series of Birding team. I have had the pleasure of serving as a keynote speaker at Birding Festivals as well as leading field trips and hosting workshops. I am an avid photographer, and my pictures have appeared in many magazines. Wild Bird named me one the ‘upcoming leaders to watch’ in a 2006 issue! I am currently a member of the Nikon Birding Pro-staff. |
