| Introduction | Pinoy Bone and Joint is a blog initiated by Dr. Geraldo “Raldy” Herrera with the mission of spreading awareness about orthopedic illnesses, injuries and anything related to orthopedics in the country. The author is a board-certified orthopedic surgeon and Fellow of the Philippine Orthopedic Association. He has subspecialty training in the field of joint reconstruction of the hip and knee. He is a member of the Philippine Hip and Knee Society and the ASEAN Arthroplasty Association. His affiliations include Medical Center Manila, Makati Medical Center, The Medical City, Lung Center and Fairview General Hospital. Topics will be discussed from personal experience and point of view. Oh, he also is happily married and a father to 3 lovable children! |
