Introduction	The Carpenteros and Friends are a group of Christian men and women from Southern Ontario who are partnering in community development projects in Honduras and El Salvador. Since they began their work in 2001, the Carpenteros have raised more than $700,000 for micro-credit, health and nutrition training, education and justice. The major fundraising events are the Spirit and Sport Christian Celebrity Dinner, held in Hamilton on the last Thursday of September, and the Bistro Carpenteros' Valentine's dinner, held in early February at Dundas Calvin Christian School.
