About me

Introduction	My name is Mady, and I'm so happy to be a part of the 2019-2020 Global Scholars cohort! Much of my global interest has been of Middle Eastern issues, which I'm learning more about by spending the second semester of my Junior year in Israel. Here, I've studied the history of Israel as well as Hebrew language (on a beginning level). In preparation for my trip to the Middle East, I took a class called 9/11 in a Global Context, where I learned a lot about Middle Eastern history. I also take an intermediate Spanish language class at school, which has been another source of global interest to me. In addition, I traveled with Poly to Nicaragua during my sophomore year.
