| Introduction | I am a mom to 3 wonderful(rotten) children 2 boys & 1 girl(she's the baby). My hubby & I have been married for 14 yrs now & still going strong. We live on 1 1/4 acres & raise cattle(2 right now), chickens(7 right now) & 1 ram, along with 2 cats. We garden also & will be expanding our garden for next spring. Plus we plan to add to our chicken brood so we have at least 12 layers. All but 1 of the roosters will be going in the soup pot(we have 3 currently). We have 2 orange trees & plan on planting more fruit trees & plants each yr. I am getting ready to plant rhubarb plants. We are trying to become as self sufficient as we possibly can. I grind my own wheat & bake all our bread & bread products. I cook from scratch & even canned a few things from the garden this year. Not working I need to be a good steward of my hubby's hard earned money. Not to mention our earth. We recycle everything we can too. And we are in our 4th yr of homeschooling. |
