| Introduction | Originally from the great Cheesehead state I am a fairly experienced traveler having visited 113 countries on the six inhabited continents. Of the places I have viisited so far, Argentina, Australia, South Africa and Thailand have been my most favorite. I am retired after 31 years as a wildlife biologist with the United States Fish and Wildlife Service and now live on the sun-baked west coast of Florida. I enjoy kayaking, hiking, swimming, bicycling, birdwatching, nature observation and interpretation, writing , reading voraciously, art (the Musee d'Orsay in Paris is the best anywhere!), theater performances, movies, watching minor league baseball, listening to Jimmy Buffett music and going to his concerts. |
| Interests | Im a retired US Fish and Wildlife Service wildlife biologist now living under a palm tree on Florida's sun-baked west coast. |
| Favorite music | There's Jimmy Buffett and then there are a bunch of other people and groups whose names I have forgotten. |
| Favorite books | My favorite books are those I have authored ! - "Somewhere South of Miami", "Continental Drifting", "Sojourn to South Africa" "Slices of America's Pie" and "Minor League Heckler" |
