| Introduction | We are a family of 14, 5 homegrown and 9 handpicked.We were blessed with four boys and finally a girl! Our 4th son, Tommy, was born with Down Syndrome. He introduced us to a world that we knew little about and were ill equipped to handle. That was 31 years ago and our lives are nothing like we thought they would be. Life is so much better and bigger than we ever imagined for ourselves. We thought we'd have 3 or 4 kids. Ha! Now we are have 14 kiddos!! We have been called the "Down Syndrome Family" because all our adopted children have an extra chromosome. They are our blessings. |

| Favorite Music | I love Christian Music from such artists as, Chris Tomlin, Casting Crowns, Paul Wilbur, Amy Grant, just to name a few. I also love folk music from artists such as Peter, Paul and Mary, Judy Collins, Joni Mitchell, etc. I do like to hear a good James Taylor tune now and then! |
| Favorite Books | The Frankenstein Series by Dean Koontz, almost anything by Koontz, Timeline by Michael Crichton, Redeeming Love by Francine Rivers, anything by her. I love the Bible which is the best book of all! |
