| Introduction | I'm Christina and my goal is to eat a healthy, predominately local diet. I find that the food is fresher and I appreciate it more when I know the farmer who produced it. One of the challenges of eating local is cooking "backwards"; I learned to cook by looking for recipes and then finding ingredients, but eating local requires me to find recipes that match ingredients I have available. My goal is to provide recipes for seasonal foods and to write about my experiences eating local. |
