Introduction	Since entering a writing contest at thirteen, Ray Morand (pseudonym), could not stop writing or story telling. It was a refuge in a difficult life moving around the country. Then after surviving a surgery to remove a brain tumor, there was a fear she would not be able to read or write again. There were a few hurdles to overcome, but she soon recovered and through the encouragement of family and friends began to write again. Ray presently resides in Texas. She has lived an eclectic life and has worked as a firefighter, police officer, investigator, photographer, web designer, script supervisor, paralegal, and acted in the theater, commercials, and independent films.
