| Introduction | I read, write, and have an inordinate amount of love for my iPod and PowerBook. I pride myself on knowing New York City public transportation as thoroughly as the back of my hand. My CD player refuses to stop playing The Dark Side of the Moon, which is a good thing. I study the ins and outs of English obsessively, as my bookshelf filled with style and grammar guides can attest. Primates are another love of mine. If I weren't already too engrossed in publishing, I'd become a physical (biological) anthropologist; but to continue down that path involves leaving New York for an African safari or South American exploration, and I doubt I'd be as comfortable in a rain forest as I am in a concrete jungle. I play the radio as if it were an instrument. |
