| Introduction | I was born & raised in Pontiac, MI and graduated from Michigan State University (and my degree is still under protest by MSU-with a smile). I worked for GM, BMW, AIG, Aon and Toyota Fin Svcs and lived and worked in Detroit, Denver, Houston, LA, NY, Hong Kong, Tokyo & Melbourne (Aus) …not bad for a kid who grew up in the shadows of the Pontiac Motor Foundry but I returned to Pontiac to give back to the city that gave me a start. I have been informally 'Blogging' for 2 yrs...but over time...friends encouraged me to post to a formal site. Perhaps my experience has nurtured a unique perspective but at any measure, my sports opinions have touched a nerve with those who think I should take my message to a wider audience. If you enjoy my posts I’m pleased…if I'm off track let me know. My posts won't be totally Spartan (and may not be Daily) but I do intend to comment upon the organizational side of Sports with a slant toward the Big Ten, including but not limited to Spartan Victories (with a smile). At any measure, I intend to keep it real and keep the compass pointed north. Thank you for reading! |
