Introduction	My name is Althea Green Smith Crook - I was born and raised in Bridgton ME. I married a fella from Scotland and we settled down in the old family farm to raise our three children. In 1944 I started writing in diaries and did so until I died 50 years later. My daughter Betty has saved my diaries all these years and now my granddaughter, Kim, is sharing my words with all the world.
