Introduction	duClay EGA is a local chapter of The Embroiderers' Guild of America. The chapter primarily serves Duval and Clay county, however our membership comes from all over northeast Florida and south Georgia. The purpose of this chapter shall be to foster the highest standards of excellence in the practice of the art of embroidery through an active program of education and study and to preserve the heritage of the art of embroidery. We meet the 4th Tuesday of every month at the Orange Park branch of the Clay County Library at 2054 Plainfield Avenue, Orange Park, FL. We also meet the first Saturday of each month for an informal stitch-in at the Orange Park Library. All are invited to join us as we explore the varied forms of needlework and embroidery.
