| Introduction | The Society's main aim is to encourage the awareness and appreciation of natural sciences in Sarawak. The Borneo Nepenthes Summit held in Kuching from 18-20 August 2007 was the first of it's kind held in the region with Nepenthes experts from all over the world attending and giving excellent lectures. The Society also organises an ongoing series of talks in Bintulu on various topics ranging from crocodiles and sunbears to orchids and ferns by experts in various fields. We hope to be able to organise field trips in the near future. |
