| Introduction | Life has been good to me and I have been extremely fortunate. At the ripe ole age of 23, I was an airline Captain (I think it was in a Ford Trimotor)flying all over the world. My entire life has been in the airline business, based primarily in the United States. Well, you ask, "What has the airline business got to do with having any expertise in the cardiac business?" Just this. I have never been sick a day in my life, yet I wound up in the intensive care section of the Tucson Medical Center (TMC)for fourteen days, after the surgeons first told me I had the heart muscle of a 24 year old NBA player. |
