Introduction	...has been a writer, lecturer and media consultant on vegetarian and animal issues for many years. He is best known for his humor column, On or Off the Mark, and for his book, The Perfectly Contented Meat-Eater’s Guide to Vegetarianism, which was published by Continuum in 1998. He also authored a chapter on vegetarianism in the new millennium for Thomas F. Potter’s book Y2K: You Can Burn this Book!, and was a contributor to the critically-acclaimed book, Writing, Etc., published by Ghost Road Press in 2006. Mark is on the board of directors of Divine Feline, a group dedicated to improving the lives of feral cats. He is a former director of the Vegetarian Society of Colorado, Rocky Mountain Animal Defense, and the Colorado Authors’ League. Email me!
