| Introduction | I am a speech and language pathologist, fascinated by our brain and the connections we make with each other. I am sure there is so much more to our life that what we see on the surface. I graduated from the University of The Pacific in 2000. I have worked as a school based SLP for 8 years and in a rehabilitation setting for 4 years. The rehab setting includes acute care, skilled nursing facilities, home health and outpatient treatment. The job of an SLP is different everyday. It consists of assessment, diagnosis, reporting and treatment of communication disorders. The population I currently serve range in age from 3 years to 103 years. |
