Introduction Mr. McKeeby is a gradute of the University of Pennsylvania and Union college who has taught English and Theatre Arts at APHS since 1999. In addition to his teaching duties he advises the Off-Broadway Players and directs shows for the company. Outside of school he is restoring an early 19th century home in Berlin, NY with his wife Joann Harnden, who is an educator at at the Williams College Museum of Art. Mr. McKeeby is also a folk art painter recognized by Early American Life's Directory of Traditional American Crafts. An avid reader, he collects antique books and pulp magazines, focusing on early science fiction, educational primer books, and classic works by Mark Twain, Edgar Rice Burroughs, and hard-boiled detective fiction authors such as Dashiell Hammett and Raymond Chandler. Other interests include classic film and collecting 1960s-70s GI Joe.
