Introduction I am a San Francisco-based food writer and writing consultant. I love artisan ice cream and almond croissants. I grew up in Eureka, CA (up North), went to college in Colorado, and graduate school in Boston. I taught Composition/Rhetoric at Boston College for a few years, and moved on to teach high school english here in CA. But times are tough for teachers...so I decided to pursue the thing that scares me but excites me the most: writing. And here we are. I'm currently working on freelance projects, and writing restaurant reviews for The San Francisco Examiner. I'm not a formally trained cook (or writer, for that matter) but I love trying new restaurants and cafes, and writing and talking about them with friends. Now, you're in that circle...
