| Introduction | I'm a stay-at-home mom with a small sign business that I run out of my home. A journalist, I have worked at The Cincinnati Enquirer, The Louisville Courier-Journal, The Washington Times in Washington, D.C., and The Indianapolis Star. But my most satisfying jobs have been working with people. My husband is Michael, and we have three great kids: Marshall, 10; Ellie, 7; and Bryce, 6. We have two cats, Tiger, a half-Siamese male, and Black Snow, a stray we adopted, and a Boxer puppy named Daisy. I love losing myself in a good book or movie while admiring the creative process those involved. I love sitting on my deck, having a glass of iced tea, enjoying the warmth of the sunshine and listening to my children laugh and play. I love having a fire in our firebowl or in our fireplace, and succumbing to the mystery of the flames. I love burning candles to smell their different fragrances, especially floral ones in the middle of winter. I love curling up on my chair or couch with my cat weighing down my feet. I love taekwondo, disciplining my body and mind. I love to learn and have wide interests. |
