| Introduction | I am a womb twin survivor, I learnt this at the age of 20 when my mother told me that my twin was like a "piece of paper" when we were born. Only believed her while doing my midwifery, that she actually was speaking the truth and I learnt what a "foetus papyraceous" was. Our relationship had never been a close one. Thanks to a supportive husband I think I have managed to deal with alot of emotional issues, disappoinments, depression, and strange medical diagnosis that have never been confirmed. Since discovering Althea Hayton and all the information on her website, I am amazed at how much I still have to learn about this subject, and how much I have to come to terms with. But the emotional journey and healing process is only now about to begin. Hopefully joining this group I can grow and learn, help others and become who I really am. |
