Introduction No, really. I'm a mermaid. Problem is, I'm landlocked. When I'm not dreaming of the ocean, I work as writer. Oddly enough, my first mermaid romance just found a home with Red Sage Publishing. :D

Favorite Music Chamber Music, Evanescence, Def Leppard, Jewel, Creed, Jem, Mary Chapin Carpenter, everything in between, depending on whether I remembered my estrogen patch or not. :)
Favorite Books How many characters can I put in here? Lovely Bones, The Memory Keeper's Daughter, The Mermaid Chair, Butterfly Tattoo, Before Women had Wings, Autism and the God Connection, Pull of the Moon, Mysteria, Undead and Unwed, Parallel Attraction, Your Planet or Mine, Oh My Goth, Tuck Everlasting, The Miraculous Journey of Edward Tulane, Propehcy of the Stones, So Long as Love Remembers, How Smudge Came, Any picture book by Cynthia Rylant or Jane Yolen, To Kill a Mockingbird, ad infinitum. ANYTHING by Gena Showalter, Deidre Knight, Dorothea Benton Frank and Elizabeth Berg. Sue Monk Kidd is another favorite.

Well, maybe they don't need them, but don't you think that some fish might like a bicycle?

Sure fish might like bicycles. As a mermaid, I certainly do! But then, I like plenty of things I'll never need or use when I return to the sea(eyeballing the vintage handbag collection...)
