| Introduction | Five years, one divorce, and one remarriage later, I became pregnant after my first IVF cycle. Two five-day blastocysts became a twin pregnancy, which then became a fraternal twin boy pregnancy. On March 14, after being told that those "little cramps" were, in fact, the symptoms of active labor, my sons made their way into the world, far too soon to survive. The cause of this tragedy remains unexplained preterm labor, possibly caused by an infection. This blog is about me, my husband, IVF, infertility, and about two beautiful little boys who should be here, but aren't...and, after transferring just one frozen embryo, the quest to bring Jacob and Zachary's younger sister into this world safely. Please visit my tribute to them at: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KQeHPFSXLdo |

What's the most amount of sand you've ever had in your swimming trunks?
I once had so much that my great-aunt thought I had pooped myself. I guess the sand sort of "hung there" like poop might. Suffice to say, I cannot quantify this amount of sand, but it was certainly more than the usual amount. Additionally - no. I had not pooped myself. It really was just sand.
