I’m Shawna (waves) a non-professional writer with a passion for storytelling, a deep love for family, delicious food, and every moment spent with my future husband. I’m fiercely loyal, quick to laugh, and never shy about expressing myself (yes, my language can get a little colorful…consider yourself warned). I have a soft spot for fishing, animals, and most humans, and I find joy in life’s simple pleasures like a good smoke (no judgment, please). I brake for turtles, even those feisty snapping ones. Currently navigating the wild ride of menopause—aka mentalpause—I often forget what I’m doing while I’m doing it. Add in a dash of manic, panic and anxiety disorder, and you’ve got someone who’s high-strung, multitasking like a champ, cleans to the point of OCD and whose brain never quite hits the off switch.
