| Introduction | Welcome to my Art Blog! I'm Lisa Workman, a free-lance illustrator. I got my start as an illustrator creating "Strawberry Shortcake" books and Style guide images for the American Greetings property when they revised her for the first time in 2001. I have also illustrated "Holly Hobbie and Friends" books, and DVD covers for American Greetings and a few projects with Nick jr. I have worked with several publishers over the years including Scholastic, Penguin-Putnam, Publications International, and Little Simon to name a few. Currently, I enjoy writing, illustrating, and designing for Frogstreet Press. I have created and illustrated many projects for them since 2013. I work with my brilliant and funny husband, Terry, who is also a talented illustrator. Together, we have 2 amazing kids and 2 cats. |
