| Introduction | I did my medical school in Amsterdam and obtained my Ph.D. in Leiden (where I was also trained as epidemiologist) in the area of obesity and osteoarthritis. Amsterdam and Leiden are in The Netherlands. After Ph.D. I did residency in radiology but I quit (it was too dark there). So, destiny brought me to a postdoc position in Lausanne, Switzerland that I combined with master in infection control and prevention in Leuven, Belgium (I finished it with honor, thanks to EasyJet that allowed me to fly between Geneve and Brussel biweekly for cheap price). At present, I am resident in Clinical Biology in Brussels, Belgium. I am also an ECFMG certified after passing United States Medical License Examination step 1, 2CS and 2CK. Microbiology is quite similar to Radiology in term that they are both image oriented, but microbiology is better since it has more colour! |
